Conference Venue

The NCT Asia Pacific 2017 conference and exhibition will be held from 16 May till 18 May 2017 at the Imperial Palace in Seoul (640 Eon-ju Ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, Korea). Please visit the Imperial Palace Website for more information.

Live Demonstration

The live CBRN Demonstration will take place on 16 May at the Headquarters of the ROK Armed Forces CBR Defense Command (화생방 사령부). Bus transport from the Imperial Palace Hotel to the demonstration venue will be arranged. Registration for the demonstration is mandatory and must be completed before 8 May via our registration page, where you can indicate if you will use our bus transportation or if you will go by own transportation. For those traveling by own transportation, the address of the venue is: 69-37, Shiheungmal-Gil, Naegok-Dong, Seocho-Gu, Seoul, Korea (서울 서초구 내곡동 신흥말길 69-31). ACCESS REQUIREMENT: bring your ID or passport. 출입증: 주민등록증, 운전면허증.

NCT Reception

On May 17th NCT Asia Pacific 2017 will host the famous NCT Reception sponsored by Bruker Detection. This year, we will host the reception at the beautiful Imperial Palace Hotel, located in the heart of Seoul. All delegates, speakers and exhibitors are invited to join the reception.

Access to VIP Room

Speakers, VIP and premium exhibitors (Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze) will have access to the VIP room during the conference hours. Exhibitors are entitled to bringing in 2 guests at a time.


Internet Access and Electricity

Complimentary WIFI internet access will be provided in all the function rooms of the Grand Walkerhill for the participants of the event. The username and the password will be provided to you on site.

In South Korea the power sockets are of type C and F. The standard voltage is 220 V and the standard frequency is 60 Hz.

A voltage converter and a plug adapter may be necessary, depending on your country of departure.


Lunch and Refreshments

Refreshments will be provided during the Networking Refreshment and Lunch breaks, according to the program. In case you have a special dietary requirement linked to health issues, please inform us via eventsteam@ib-consultancy.com in advance. We will do our best in order to accommodate your needs.


Conference Presentations

After the event, all of our speakers’ presentations will be uploaded under their individual profiles in PDF format in the NCT CBRNe App as well as in the program section, under each session. We will notify you when all presentations will be uploaded.


Travel Information

Getting to the Imperial Palace from Incheon International Airport:

By Airport Bus (KAL Limousine Bus) (Recommended)
The KAL Limousine Bus takes you to the Imperial Palace within approx. 1 hour and 20 minutes. You can take the bus number 6704, which can be found on platform 4A, 5B, 6A and 6B. Tickets can be bought at the KAL Limousine bus stop in front of the Terminal or at the Transportation information counter at the arrival terminal of the airport.

By Subway

Take the Line 7 Subway to Hakdong Station. At Hakdong station, take exit 1 and walk straight to the big intersection, then turn right and on your left you can see the Imperial Palace Hotel.

By Taxi
Taxi stands are located between platforms 4D and 8C on the Arrivals floor (1st floor) in the parking area. You can choose from premium black taxis or standard taxis (colored orange or white/silver). Premium black taxis are more expensive and bigger than regular standard taxis. It takes approximately 60 minutes from the airport to the hotel depending on traffic conditions. Expect toll charges to be added to the total fare.

Getting to the Imperial Palace from Gimpo Airport:

By train/subway

Take the express train on the brown line 9, change to line 7 at the Express Bus Terminal and exit at Hakdong station.

By Taxi

Taking a taxi from Gimpo Airport to the Imperial Palace will take approximately 30 minutes.
