Masanori FUJITA is Professor and Chairman of the Division of Environmental Medicine, National Defense Medical College Research Institute, Japan. He is also Colonel in Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF). He graduated from National Defense Medical College (NDMC) in 1992 and received PhD in medicine from NDMC in 2005. His background is flight surgeon in JASDF and vascular surgeon. He learned Aerospace Medicine and Critical Care Air Transport Team (CCATT) Course at United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine (USAFSAM). His experience includes medical support for JASDF Iraq Reconstruction Mission, and Tokyo Narita International Airport Quarantine Inspection for Pandemic Influenza. His research interests focus on Aerospace Medicine, Aeromedical Evacuation, Environmental Medicine, Emergency and Surgical Issue in Natural and CBRNE Disaster. Animal experiments with fine surgical procedure and surveillance study on overseas deployment are his favorite academic work.
