Scott manages the entire safety and security product portfolio for Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Field and Safety Instruments business, including RadEye, Gemini, RadHalo and TruNarc. Scott has traveled the globe to understand the needs, concerns and problems that confront today’s law enforcement, military, fire brigades and first responder communities. Key themes such as ease of use, intelligent systems that guide users, data sharing, and rugged packaging are common globally, and are critical requirements in all new projects.
With more than 20 years of experience while holding positions of progressively increasing responsibility in engineering and product management, he has gained a deep understanding of how to apply new technologies, techniques, and products to solve key customer problems. Recognizing that both large gatherings and everyday life can attract terrorism, Scott has worked with a number of end users across the globe on building a comprehensive chemical and radiological screening plan for any scenario at any time.
Scott holds BS in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts.
