Mr. Yoshihiko Ishikawa is currently the Chief of the Fire Suppression Division of the Tokyo Fire Department. Mr. Ishikawa has almost 30 years of experience in the Fire Service, beginning his career as a Firefighter in April of 1989. In 2005, he became the Fire Suppression Section Chief at the Kanamachi Fire Station and held that position until he became a Counsellor to the Fire Suppression Division Chief in 2008. From 2009 to 2012 Mr. Ishikawa held numerous positions within the Fire Service of Japan before taking on his first role as Fire Station Chief at the Kitatamaseibu Fire Station. He then went on to become a Chief of Station or Section at the Joto Fire Station and the Fire Academy before taking up his current post.
